Abductor Hallucis
Muscle knots in the Abductor Hallucis are located along the inner edge of the foot, running from the heel bone to the base of the big toe. These muscle knots can refer pain to the inside of the heel, arch, and medial ankle, and may even cause numbness or tingling in the big toe, often mimicking plantar fasciitis or tarsal tunnel syndrome. People often feel deep aching or burning pain, especially when walking, standing for long periods, or wearing unsupportive shoes.
