Infraspinatus
Muscle knots in the Infraspinatus are usually found on the back of the shoulder blade, just below the spine of the scapula and along its inner border. These muscle knots can refer pain to the mid back along the shoulder blade, into the back of the neck, front of the shoulder, down the outer arm, and even into the forearm, wrist, and hand, sometimes mimicking nerve pain or conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome. People often feel a deep ache or burning sensation, and movements like reaching overhead or fastening a seatbelt can become uncomfortable.
