Muscle knots in the Subscapularis are tucked deep under the front side of the shoulder blade. These muscle knots can refer pain to the top of the shoulder, the back of the shoulder, down the back of the upper arm, and even into the wrist, sometimes mimicking nerve-related discomfort. You may notice difficulty lifting their arm or reaching across their body, and the pain can feel surprisingly far from the actual source.
