Muscle knots in the Temporalis are located on the side of the head, above and around the temples, extending from the temporal bone to the jaw. These muscle knots can refer pain to the temples, forehead, jaw, upper teeth, and even around the eyes, often mimicking migraines, sinus pressure, or dental issues. You may feel a throbbing or squeezing headache, jaw tightness, or tooth sensitivity—especially during stress, teeth clenching, or after long periods of talking or chewing.
